Why am I writing
Introduction
Since my childhood, I have been very fascinated with reading and hearing stories. Whenever I saw someone telling a story, I would sit beside them and listen with tireless attention. When I read any book about the stories of prophets in Islam or listened to someone recount their journeys, it enchanted my mind and filled my heart with peace. These timeless lessons made me curious to learn more and inspired me to begin sharing them with others.
The stories of prophets are not just old tales; they are divine guidance preserved for us to understand faith, morality, and perseverance. Each prophet faced trials and challenges that still resonate with our struggles today. Through their patience, trust in Allah, and unwavering commitment to truth, they became role models for humanity. By reflecting on their experiences, we can find inspiration for our own lives—whether in moments of hardship or times of ease.
In this series, I aim to bring forward these prophetic stories in a simple and engaging way, so readers from all walks of life can benefit. The Qur’an reminds us that the lives of the prophets are lessons, full of wisdom and mercy for those who reflect. By revisiting their experiences, we are reminded of the importance of patience, gratitude, justice, and compassion in our daily lives.
I invite you to join me on this journey through the stories of prophets, to rediscover their timeless guidance and strengthen our connection with Allah. May these accounts nurture our hearts, deepen our faith, and bring light to our paths.
Who are these prophets?
“And indeed they are, to Us, among the chosen and outstanding.” (Surah Sad 38:47). Prophets are the best people on this earth. They are the chosen men of Allah.
What is their responsibility to mankind? Man is not always able to identify truth with his senses and intellect alone. Therefore, the Prophets have been sent to this world as messengers of Allah to search for the great truth.
Number of Prophets
How many prophets did Allah Ta’ala send to this world? One narration we find in this regard is that Allah sent 124,000 prophets. However, here I will present the biographies of 25 prophets whose names are clearly mentioned in the Qur’an.
